The Project Coordinator (the “Coordinator”) is an important member of Nunastar’s Edmonton based team. Nunastar is the Canadian Arctic’s premium hotel, residential, and commercial real estate developer. Each year Nunastar undertakes many projects, ranging from construction of new buildings to large and small renovations of our existing properties. As the Coordinator, you are instrumental in bringing these projects to fruition.

The Coordinator should contribute a strong understanding of project management and contract administration. The Coordinator will also have a significant role in the design and operation of Nunastar’s diversified assets, which combined include over seven hundred hotel and residential units, in addition to large commercial spaces. This position will also remain heavily involved in Nunastar’s building operations meetings, both supporting ongoing operations as well as executing projects including renovations and small and large capital projects.

**Qualifications**:

- Training as an Engineering Technologist or Engineer, Mechanical specialization is preferred
- 2-5 years of relevant industry work experience, preferably in project management. Experience in Northern Canada would be considered an asset
- Competence with AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Strong general computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office)
- Experience with BIM systems is considered an asset
- Experience with Microsoft Project is considered an asset
