In this role, you’ll be an essential part of our grooming team, ensuring every pet looks and feels their best while delivering the exceptional care and service that Paws in the Bath is known for.
As a **Groomer Tech - Bather**, you’ll specialize in bathing, brushing, and preparing pets for grooming while learning advanced techniques that can grow into a professional grooming career. You’ll work directly with groomers and pet parents, building trust, confidence, and long-term relationships.

**Responsibilities**:

- Engage directly with clients and their pets to deliver an exceptional experience from start to finish.
- Build and maintain your own client base through consistent quality, trust, and customer connection.
- Perform basic grooming services such as bathing, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and sanitary trims.
- Support senior groomers by preparing pets for full grooming services and assisting during high-volume periods.
- Ensure each pet’s comfort and safety throughout the grooming process.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional salon environment at all times.
- Monitor pets for signs of health or skin issues and report any concerns to the lead groomer or manager.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative salon culture focused on care, quality, and growth.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year experience in a grooming salon, kennel, daycare, or pet care environment preferred.
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments with patience and care.
- Availability to work weekends as part of your regular schedule.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and customer service skills.
- Passion for animals and interest in developing grooming expertise.
- Grooming school certification or on-the-job training is considered an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
