**About us** Shepherd's Fashions is an Ottawa-based in-store and online women's fashion boutique. We offer on-trend styles that are suitable for all body shapes and style personalities. Our goal is to help each and every customer look in the mirror and feel great about themselves As Shepherd's Fashions new Visual Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating an amazing customer experience (and increasing revenue) by ensuring the store floor is beautiful, engaging, and easy-to-shop. **Key Responsibilities** - Using your creative flair and product & marketing knowledge to display merchandise. - Maintaining all point of sale, sign-holders and fixtures. - Assisting with unpacking, tagging, steaming, and placement of stock. - Interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner. - Supporting the team in achieving sales goals. - Supporting the set-up of events. **Required Skills and Knowledge** - At least 6 months of experience in retail merchandising. - Passion for fashion (Is that cliche?). - Ability to lift/move boxes, >25lbs. **Educational Level** Degree/diploma in a visual merchandising is an asset. **Compensation** We are pleased to offer a competitive wage, flexible work hours, store discounts, and more **Job Type**: Part-time Part-time hours: 20-24 per week **Benefits**: - Casual dress - On-site parking - Store discount Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: - Ottawa, ON K1G 3X8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - Merchandising: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
