- Staff training week June 24 - 27 (2pm - 7pm), 28 (9am - 1pm)
- Summer Dates: July 2 - August 23 (Options to work July or August are available)
- Camp Times: 8:30am - 4:30pm

Centre Camp is the destination where children in the Greater Toronto community come together to explore, celebrate, and nurture their Jewish life and connection to Israel. Centre Camp is a place to foster independence and a true camp community while growing leaders of tomorrow within a classic summer camp environment.

**ROLE SUMMARY**

The role of a Program Specialist is to plan, organize and implement new activities and programs in their specialty area for different age groups of campers. Running daily activities as scheduled including interacting with campers and encouraging them in a positive manner and assisting them to participate and complete activities where needed. The Program Specialist must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to manage multiple programs and tasks at a time. And provide a safe, unique, and memorable camp experience.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Passionate about sports
- Develop a written 8-week curriculum for each age level (4-13 year olds).
- Ability to manage a large group of campers (with camp counsellors)
- Set up equipment before campers arrive.
- Engage children in games and activities that foster self-confidence and develop age-appropriate skills, such as cooperation and turn-taking.
- Lead up to 6 sports programs daily
- Implement a rainy-day sports program when necessary.
- Unpack, organize, maintain, repack, and take inventory of all sports equipment.

**Job Type**: Seasonal

**Salary**: $1,300.00-$2,800.00 per month
