**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
Electronic Resource Management
- Receive and activate electronic resources.
- Maintain and update usage statistics.
- Monitor access and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with vendors and IT.
- Update licenses and amendments.
- Process resources received through consortia and vendors.

Cataloguing & Metadata
- Create and maintain metadata for institutional repositories (Knowledge Commons and Lakehead Borealis).
- Catalog library materials and maintain current collections.
- Process library items. Acquisitions
- Process acquisitions, including creating and managing order records.
- Receive and verify library items.
- Communicate with vendors and process invoices.
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- Library Technician Diploma - Proficiency in COUNTER and SUSHI standards.
- Familiarity with automated library systems and metadata management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating systems.
- 1+ years experience
