Fabrication Estimator

**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Read customer requirements as complex as full CAD drawings to as simple as hand sketches to estimate costs and lead times for customers.
- Collaborate with customers, other project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information to complete fabrication and manufacturing projects.
- Track your jobs and projects to completion with our onsite fabricators. Our fabricators have decades of experience and are super helpful every step of the way.
- Learn the uses, benefits and disadvantages of various plastics materials to best suit the customers needs.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in estimating and project management.
- Being able to work in the shop at times would be an asset as it would give you a better understanding of the work you are estimating. We would only have you work on projects and machines you are safe and comfortable with.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex project requirements.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities for customers and internal coworkers.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines - not often required but may happen a few times a year for a few days at a time.
- Background in Engineering, Trades, and/or Sales would be an asset.
- Fluency in French would be an asset. About 95% of our business is conducted in English.

Schedule:

- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with 30 min lunch & two 15 min breaks.
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday only

Work Location: In person only

Expected start date: May 1, 2025 or later

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)

**Experience**:

- Inside sales: 1 year (required)
- Project management: 3 years (preferred)
- Customer Service: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)
