Relief Driver Needed: 5 Ton Truck Driver

Nor-Pel Inc. is looking for an experienced 5 ton truck driver to cover a variety of routes based out of Barrie, Ontario on a RELIEF/casual basis

Would love an individual who is flexible and available to cover some vacation for regular full time staff as well as taking on extra loads as requested.

Light to moderate physical work involved in sorting/loading/unloading (hauling mail for Canada Post from facility to facility)

DZ license / AIR BRAKE endorsement would be a definite asset

Must be able to pass a security clearance (criminal check)

Clean drivers abstract preferred

We have a variety of runs from Barrie to Huntsville, Burks Falls and Collingwood/Wasaga Beach. There are delivery stops along the routes. Runs are paid a flat rate depending on length of run and work load

Full route coverage for a day would involve split shifts with morning and early evening runs (having several hours off in between.)

Some shifts may be morning or evening only

Some Saturday coverage needed

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $200.00-$300.00 per day

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
