**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Construct and install frameworks, structures, and fixtures such as windows, doors, flooring, cabinets and shelves
- Measure, cut, and shape materials to create frameworks and structures
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to measure, cut, shape assemble and join materials
- Collaborate effectively with other team members and communicate progress and challenges as needed
- Other general and/or finishing carpentry duties as assigned
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area at all times by following procedures and policies
- Read and understand blueprints, designs and plans
- Work with subcontractors, other carpenter's and project manager’s to accomplish project goals
- Perform additional duties as needed

**THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES NEEDED**:

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to find solutions
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining HLD’s high standards of quality and craftmanship
- Sound knowledge of all aspects of residential construction
- Ability to prioritize different tasks and utilize time management skills

**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Valid G level driver’s licence with clean abstract is an asset
- Capable of standing, bending and lifting for extended periods
- 5+ years experience in carpentry an asset
- Legally eligible to work in Canada

Please note: This is an on-site role Monday-Friday based in Huntsville, Ontario, Muskoka region.
