**Position Summary**
The Store Clerk Position is responsible for providing a positive customer experience, creating attractive and creative displays, and continuously learning about our products.
- **Please note this position will have evening shifts. Due to the nature of taxis and public transport in Duncan, we suggest applicants have a means of personal transportation available to them.**_

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide a high level of customer service by greeting customers and making memorable connections
- Maintain a balanced float while on shift and counts cash drawer at end of shift
- Stock shelves, maintain an orderly store, and merchandise display areas
- Initiate opportunities for additional sales
- Assist in receiving and storing products
- Operate equipment
- Participate in maintaining a prosperous and enjoyable work environment for all staff

**We want our team members to have**:

- Previous cashier and customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, such as retail, hospitality, or food services
- Availability to work weekends/evening shifts
- Serving It Right certification

**We want our team members to be**:

- Confident in their ability to learn about a wide variety of local and foreign products
- Delighted in interacting with the community, creating relationships and providing great service and recommendations

**Working Conditions**:

- Standing / Moving for 4-8 hours
- Lifting and/or carrying merchandise up to 25lbs on a frequent basis
- Lifting above the shoulder

**Requirements**:

- Must be 19+ years of age
- Must have Serving it Right certification

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
