**We are seeking 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice or Journeyman Heavy Equip Techs**

Reco Construction is actively seeking an experienced, safety conscious and motivated Journeyman, 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team This position will be responsible for assisting with maintaining all equipment year round. You will need to provide a valid driver's license, clean driver's abstract and 2 references and we'll provide flexibility and competitive wages. Employee benefits available after 3 months.

General Skills & Requirements:

- Apprenticeship Documents or Journeyman tickets
- Mechanical knowledge & experience with Repairs & maintenance on heavy equipment, trucks etc.
- Performing Equipment and commercial vehicle inspections is an asset
- Experience with a gravel crusher is an asset
- Welding & Fabricating skills or knowledge are an asset
- Complete required paperwork efficiently and accurately
- Be able to work unsupervised
- Clean drivers abstract & valid license
- Good communication skills, problem solving, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to follow direction
- Able to work long hours as required
- Available to work a rotating on call schedule with others
