Job title: Accounting Student

**Position overview**: Cascades is looking for a detail-oriented, reliable Accounting Clerk-Student to help with the creation of customers invoices and help managing supplier invoices. The Accounting Clerk will also be assisting the accounting department with the preparation of financial reports, journal entries and basic account analysis.
- Creating and issuing invoices to customers.
- Answering and following up on customer inquiries.
- Help processing supplier invoices.
- Answering and following up on supplier inquiries.
- Help with the preparation of the financial statement by preparing journal entries and doing basic account reconciliation.
- Help with the preparation of the monthly inventory count.

**Desired Experience**
- Currently registered in and completed at least 1 year of an Accounting Program
- Have a good working knowledge of accounting theories and practices.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel).
- Working knowledge of relevant ERP, an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
- Results-oriented and the ability to work independently with team support.
- Experience with SAP, an asset.
