Emergency preparedness is a critical aspect of CCH operations. It is essential that all staff and physicians receive training and understand their roles and responsibilities in this field.

**Summary of responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Manager of IT Applications and Client Services or other delegate, the PC Technician will Troubleshoot any Hardware, Software, Network problem the customer may have. Coordinate and plan Hardware and Software installations.

**Requirements of the job**:

- 2-Year college diploma with A+ certification
- Minimum 1-year experience as a P.C. Technician
- Good knowledge of personal and networked equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software
- Experience in customer support, good interpersonal and organizational skills and strong team oriented
- Required to work alternating shifts between the day and evening shifts.
- Required to be on-call for evenings and week-ends to provide support
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety
- Demonstrated regular, punctual attendance
- Functional proficiency in English (oral and written)

Assets:

- Demonstrated experience in a healthcare sector and knowledge of CCH I.T. support and network infrastructure
- Knowledge of intranet and internet development tools
- Knowledge of Mitel phone networks.
