JTA Development Consultants is a full-service real estate development management, consulting, and project management firm based in Vancouver, BC. We specialize in full cycle development management on behalf of our Clients to maximize the value of their properties. Our projects have a primary focus on new rental housing in Metro Vancouver. Our current projects also include non-profit, office, mixed-use, market strata housing, industrial, commercial and consulting for projects with complex zoning and community engagement.

**Role Description**

This is a full-time on-site role for a Development Project Assistant at JTA Development Consultants in Vancouver, BC. The Project Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the senior development team and must demonstrate excellent communication skills, assist and facilitate ongoing project requirements, schedules, ongoing meeting notes and distribution of correspondence and interface with various external project partners and consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist Project Managers and Development Managers with tasks including planning, initiating, executing, communication of project requirements
- Be prepared to support and learn all aspects of the development cycle from project feasibility through post-construction.
- Willing to learn and assist with preparation and implementation of project scope's, schedules, budgets, and ongoing project requirements.
- Willing to learn and assist in maintaining up-to-date project requirements for facilitating decisions and input (drawings, RFI's, Submittals, Change Requests)
- Assist with preparation of Permit packages and submissions
- Provide notes and comments on meeting minutes from project team to construction and consultant team
- Create, edit, distribute documents and file manage (electronic and physical files)
- Attend meetings, take notes, draft minutes and distribute once reviewed
- Advanced knowledge of project management software, scheduling software, meeting software, tech savvy, can work on Windows or IOS
- Technical Diploma or relevant University Degree or work experience in real estate, design, construction, commerce, or adjacent relevant field
- A passion for community building
- Critical thinking and track record of problem solving
- Self-motivated, self starter, entrepreneurial, detail oriented
- Personable with advanced communication skills
- Well organized, and excellent communicator

Extended Benefits after 3 months, 90-day trial period upon acceptance. Full-time Monday-Friday.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $54,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
