Big Time Decent Productions — the team behind **Rust Valley Restorers** — is looking for a full-time **Assistant Video Editor** to join our **social media department** in Burnaby. This is an in-person role focused on helping craft engaging **YouTube and social media content** for the cast from Rust Valley.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ingest, sort, and organize footage from Dropbox and other sources
- Build rough cuts and assist with assembling timelines
- Identify story beats and create skeleton edits
- Sync audio and manage multi-camera workflows
- Assist Executive Editors in crafting final cuts
- Work on both long-form YouTube videos and shorts
- Maintain organized project files and follow best practices in data management
- Create graphics and animations for videos
- Assist with thumbnail creation if needed
- Collaborate closely with the team to produce high-quality, audience-driven content

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop
- Strong sense of storytelling and video pacing
- Familiarity with Dropbox and general file management
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to take editorial direction
- Self-motivated and organized in a fast-paced creative environment
- A genuine passion for YouTube and creating social-first content
- Basic knowledge of color grading and sound design
- A sense of humor and ability to work with fun, creative personalities
- Interest or knowledge in cars (especially classic or custom builds)
- Strong English

**Rate: $23/hour**
