Indian Dance Instructor

**About Us**:
Move with Grace Dance Studio is a vibrant, inclusive space where dancers from ages 2 to 18 years old learn and grow. Our core values of Belonging, Purpose, and Pride guide everything we do. We are looking to expand our offerings with a high-energy Indian Fusion dance class and need an energetic, passionate instructor to join our team.

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Indian Dance Instructor who is skilled in a combination of Bollywood, Bhangra, and Classical dance (either Kathak or Bharatnatyam). This role involves introducing an exciting and culturally rich Indian Fusion class to our studio, which is designed to engage children and teens, ages 2-18.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Teach Bollywood, Bhangra, and Classical dance styles to children and teenagers.
- Create an engaging and energetic class environment that inspires students to express themselves through dance.
- Collaborate with our team to uphold the studio’s values of Belonging, Purpose, and Pride.
- Develop fun and age-appropriate routines for a variety of skill levels.
- Ensure a positive learning experience by fostering confidence, discipline, and creativity in students.

**Requirements**:

- Proficient in Bollywood, Bhangra, and either Kathak or Bharatnatyam dance forms.
- Passionate about working with children and teens, with the ability to adapt teaching methods for different age groups.
- Energetic, creative, and committed to creating a positive, inclusive atmosphere.
- Must live in the Cambridge-KW region and be able to physically teach at our studio.
- Eligible to work in Canada.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 6 per week

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
- Experience with children: 1 year (preferred)
