**High School Business, Social Science and ESL Teacher**

**Location**: William Academy - Cobourg Campus

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver engaging lessons in Business, Social Science, and ESL that meet curriculum expectations and foster student success.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies, creative tools, and digital platforms to enhance student involvement and learning outcomes.
- Adapt instructional methods to support the diverse needs of international and local students.
- Assess and evaluate student progress in alignment with _Growing Success_ guidelines.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and administrators to contribute to the school’s academic and community goals.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Experience teaching Business, Social Science, and ESL at the high school level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience teaching international students is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office & OneDrive, Zoom and Moodle
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 7 months

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- OCT (preferred)
