- Measure and mark sheet metal according to template
- Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal
- Utilize computerized quantity take-off
- Schedule work
- Develop computerized pattern and layout
- Cut materials using power tools or by hand
- Operate CADD and other computer software systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications

**Certificates, Licences, Memberships, and Courses**:

- Sheet Metal Worker Trade Certification
- Forklift Operator Certification

**Specialization or Experience**:

- Copper or metal roofs
- Custom sheet metal items
- Eavestroughing and flashing
- Pre-fabricated metal buildings
- Sheeting and cladding

- Valid driver's licence
- Own vehicle
