We are seeking a passionate, organized, personable, meticulous, and task-oriented Pharmacy Assistant with Pharmacy Compounding Experience and KROLL proficiency to join our dynamic team. **Core Competencies and Requirements**

1. Ontario Retail Pharmacy experience: 2+ years **(required)**

2. Pharmacy Compounding experience: 1+ year **(required)**

3. Kroll proficiency: 2+ years **(required)**

4. Experience with specialized compounding equipment (pharmaceutical calculations, capsule filling machines, homogenizers, laminar flow hoods, mixers, mills etc ) and Proficiency in preparing bioidentical hormone creams and other complex compounds

5. Energetic, fast learner with ability to follow directions and all established protocols

**Primary Responsibilities and key skills**:
1. Pharmacy Operations:

- Operate specialized compounding equipment (e.g., capsule filling machines, homogenizers, laminar flow hoods).
- Prepare bioidentical hormone creams and other complex compounds.
- Prepare, organize, and track blister packs.
- Maintain and manage front-shop and prescription inventory.
- Perform various tasks including counting, compounding, labeling, filing, and data entry.

2. Kroll Proficiency: Skilled in scanning, data entry, billing, and adhering to workflow protocols.

3. Customer Interaction:

- Greet and assist patients with a friendly demeanor, both in-person and via telephone.
- Provide efficient and timely support, including answering calls and triaging inquiries.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and handle cashier duties.

4. Healthcare Collaboration:

- Work closely with doctors and clinic staff at medical clinics.
- Assist pharmacists by prioritizing, organizing, and screening tasks effectively.

5. Personal Qualities:

- Demonstrate dependability, reliability, grit, perseverance, and team spirit.
- Exhibit a positive attitude, motivation, and eagerness to learn.
- Possess strong multi-tasking abilities and efficient task prioritization skills.
- Display exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Show proficiency in computer and technology use.

6. Additional Requirements:

- Ability to reliably commute or relocate before starting work.
- Blend well with the existing team and contribute positively to patient care.

7. Adaptability:

- Perform other industry-standard duties and pharmacy-related tasks as assigned by management
- Any other pharmacy related tasks assigned by Pharmacy Manager or Staff Pharmacist
