The Shift Lead will motivate and guide the store team, ensure exceptional customer experiences, drive sales, and maintain the store visual merchandizing standards. This position requires a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. How you will make a difference: - Lead and inspire a team of retail associates, providing guidance, coaching and support on assigned shifts. - Assign tasks and delegate responsibilities effectively, ensuring smooth store operations during shift. - Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and act as a role mode for the store team. - Ensure all customers are greeted warmly and receive prompt assistance. - Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner. - Achieve sales targets by motivating the team to provide exceptional sales experiences. - Train and coach associates on effective sales techniques and product knowledge. - Ensure the store is clean, always organized and visually appealing. - Responsible for the store’s opening and closing procedures. - Assists with inventory, including receiving, stocking, and replenishing merchandise. - Provide customers with a hassle-free experience when they need to exchange or return products. - Adhere to company policies, procedures, and store operational guidelines. - Adhere to loss prevention guidelines to minimize theft and maximize store profitably. Skills for Success: - A minimum of at least 2 years retail experience - Proficiency in using a point-of sale (POS) systems and other retail software. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members. - Excellent decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills - Strong organizational and time management abilities. - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion
