Job Description:
Tamarack Veterinary Clinic, proudly one of the three Fear Free Certified clinics in Alberta and holding the prestigious Gold AAFP Feline Friendly Practice Certification, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Veterinary Clinic Receptionist. As the face of our clinic, the receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring that our clients and their pets receive the highest level of care and service.

**Responsibilities**:
Greet clients and their pets with a warm and welcoming demeanor, creating a fear-free and stress-free environment for both pets and their owners.

Utilize your excellent customer service skills to assist clients with appointment scheduling, inquiries, and providing information about our Fear Free and feline-friendly practices.

Maintain a clean and organized reception area and examination rooms to ensure a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for our clients and patients.

Efficiently check-in patients, collect necessary information, and assist veterinary staff in following protocols and procedures.

Collaborate with the veterinary team to coordinate appointments, manage the clinic schedule, and ensure smooth operations throughout the day.

Demonstrate good time management skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities effectively.

Uphold the clinic's standards of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a receptionist in the Veterinary Medical Field

Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.

A self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with clients and colleagues in a professional manner.

Passion for providing exceptional care and service to animals and their owners.
