**Department**: Finance

**Reports To**: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

**Position Summary**

The Vice President of Finance (VP of Finance) is a senior leadership role responsible for managing GoFor’s financial planning, reporting, and strategic growth. The VP of Finance will oversee all financial activities, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance, ensuring the organization’s financial health and alignment with strategic objectives. This individual will work closely with the executive team to drive business growth, optimize financial performance, and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.

**Key Responsibilities**_Strategic Leadership_**
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement the company’s financial strategy.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support organizational objectives.
- Identify and manage financial risks and opportunities in alignment with company goals.

**_Financial Management_**
- Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
- Develop and manage the company’s budget, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
- Create detailed financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and growth scenarios.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to stakeholders.

**_Compliance and Governance_**
- Ensure adherence to local, provincial, and federal financial regulations.
- Oversee audits, tax filings, and compliance with corporate governance policies.
- Maintain strong internal controls and financial accountability throughout the organization.

**_Team Development_**
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance.
- Establish clear goals and performance metrics for team members.

**_Operational Excellence_**
- Drive process improvements to optimize financial operations and reporting accuracy.
- Analyze business performance and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
- Oversee cash flow management to ensure the organization’s liquidity and financial stability.

**Qualifications and Requirements**_Education_**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- MBA, CPA, or CFA designation strongly preferred.

**_Experience_**
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Experience in [industry-specific knowledge, if applicable, e.g., technology, healthcare, or manufacturing].
- Proven track record of strategic financial planning and execution.
