Medallion is seeking an experienced Superintendent for our London rental portfolio. Under the direction of the Property Manager, you will oversee the coordination of all maintenance work of the community you are supporting. You have a mechanical and maintenance background and superior customer service skills. You are well organized and can handle multiple projects at once. You are available to work on weekends while on rotation and when required.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Ensuring a well-maintained, clean and secure building which includes daily care of all common areas and exterior.
- Focus on one step tenant resolution and communicate with Property Manager daily on status of building operations.
- Complete and oversee work order requests. Performs basic repairs and maintenance in common areas and suites. Coordinate with trades and contractors under the direction of the Property Manger for those work order requests which cannot be handled directly in-house.
- Administrative tasks including rent collection, issuing notices of rent increase, serving legal documentation as directed by the Property Manger
- Daily inspections and ensuring mechanical rooms, boiler rooms, garbage rooms, elevators and ventilation systems are functioning properly. Identify any issues with operations and troubleshoot repairing with Medallion staff or contractors as required.
- Daily, weekly, monthly completion of all legislated fire safety requirements within the building(s)

**Skills Required**:

- Experience in maintenance or building management is preferred
- Hands on experience with plumbing, ventilation, lighting, fire safety systems, intercom systems
- Patience and calm demeanour when communication with tenants
- Professional and committed to upholding Medallion’s customer standards
- Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks calmly and consistently
- Available to work evenings, weekends, on-call schedule as required
- Valid driver’s license
- Working knowledge of safe work practices including but not limited to OSA, WHMIS, HSA and RTA.
