Food Services Assistant

Calgary, Canada Equation Staffing Solutions. Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu
- Set up equipment and supplies for daily food production
- Monitor the quality and freshness of food
- Adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation, food handling, and storage
- Ensure the food is kept at the right temperature
- Assist cooking staff as required
- Maintain a clean and organized work and storage area
- Garbage disposal as required

**Requirements**:

- Good communication skills in English
- Food Service Certificate is required
- Experience in the food/beverage or hospitality industry required
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, stretching, and lifting objects
- Positive attitude and friendly demeanor toward guests and staff
- Must be agreeable to obtain a vulnerable sector check as part of employment
