Interactive Sports Technologies Inc. (HD Golf) builds globally recognized HD Golf and HD SportSuite systems, changing the game in sports simulation. We’re hiring a Financial Controller to elevate our finance engine, sharpen reporting and costing, and enable confident decisions across the business.

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

**Responsibilities**
- **Leading by example, diving into the work with a detail-oriented, coaching mindset.**

Controller who partners across the business and owns outcomes:

- **Planning & Budgets**: Build the annual operating budget and quarterly reforecasts; drive departmental budgets and headcount planning; translate pipeline/production plans into revenue, margin, and cash forecasts.
- **GL Integrity & Admin**: Review the general ledger and all subledgers (AP, AR, inventory, payroll, fixed assets). Own admin-managed items, vendor setup, approvals, spend controls, expense policy, and documentation, ensuring clean reconciliations and audit-ready files.
- **Close & Reporting**: Run the monthly close, consolidations, and ASPE financials; deliver clear variance analysis (COGS, margins, overhead absorption, working capital).
- **Sales & Ops Alignment**: Partner with **Sales** on pricing, margins, commissions/accruals, and revenue cut-off; partner with **Operations** on BOM/standards, inventory accuracy, and production costs to improve PPV/usage/labour variances.
- **GM Partnership**: Work closely with the **General Manager**, turn data into decisions, flag risks early, and track actions to closure.
- **Systems & Process**: Steer Sage 300 and reporting (Excel/Power BI), improve data hygiene, automate reports, tighten controls, and coach a small team by modeling best-practice execution.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred with 6 to 10 years of progressive experience in **Manufacturing.**:

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping, cash management, budgeting, and forecasting, strong ASPE, Canadian tax, and audit experience.
- Proficient with **Sage 300** and advanced Excel; Power BI/Salesforce a plus.
- Clear communicator with a root-cause/continuous-improvement mindset.
- **US State Sales Tax**: Monitor nexus, review sales/use tax exposure by state, ensure timely filings and compliance; align ERP tax codes/rates and partner with Sales Ops on accuracy.

**Benefits & Total Compensation**
- **Base Salary**:$105,000-$130,000 CAD** (experience-based)
- **Bonus**: Performance-based eligibility

Pay: $105,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
