**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and document vital signs and changes in residents' conditions.
- Assist residents with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Prepare meals according to dietary guidelines and individual preferences.
- Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals and assist in medication administration as required.
- Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their emotional well-being.
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or other special needs through direct support techniques.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining confidentiality of resident information.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings is preferred.
- First aid and CPR certification
- GPA Certification
- Experience in hospitality and customer service is a plus
- 2 Years experience in patient monitoring, memory care, dementia care, or hospice care
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist residents with physical mobility challenges.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Familiarity with caregiving principles, social work practices, and the development of care plans is beneficial.

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- PSW: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Vulnerable Sector Check, CPR/ First Aid (required)
