To learn more about CIBC, please visit What you'll be doing Reporting to the Senior Director, Imperial Service Strategy and Product Management, the Director of Strategy & Optimization will lead the ongoing strategy and execution of the portfolio optimization for our Imperial Service advisors, support the execution of advisor transition strategies, and leads programs to accelerate productivity through a data driven approach. The Director will influence the development, implementation and management of strategies, and programs in support of Imperial Service business plan. In particular, this role will drive the portfolio optimization strategy, deliver recommendations and ensure advisor portfolios are effectively and efficiently optimized. This is a leadership role that provides guidance and professional advice on complex and conceptual issues to frontline salesforce, project teams and partners on key initiatives. - At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1 to 3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview._ How you'll succeed - Portfolio Optimization - Lead and execute on key strategic initiatives to optimize advisor portfolios and transition process. Work with Imperial Service leaders to deliver great client experience and engagement during advisor transition, while minimize business impacts. Leverage data and deep insights to accelerate productivity and enhance training. - Strategy Design & Strategic Problem Solving - Develop strategies for Imperial Service and synthesize business objectives and current operating model strengths and weaknesses to drive growth. Frame complex problem to be addressed, identify and execute required analysis with Analytics partners, and synthesize key findings to help the teams reach decisions. Support the execution and development of the Imperial Service Strategy and map the value chain and opportunities in a story telling approach. - Presentation & Analysis - Develop and prepare executive presentation materials, metrics and performance materials and ad-hoc requests including leading and crafting analysis, conclusions, and facilitating associated actions with Analytics and Finance partners. - Consulting - Foster collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and peers. Provide value-added advisory support on strategic direction and best practices. Participate and support in in-flight projects to ensure that the strategic vision and its benefits are realized. Stay connected with the client journey and engage with our frontline partners regularly to understand the current strengths and challenges.
