Ottawa, Canada Bona Building & Management Full time

Bona Building and Management Co Ltd is looking to hire a full-time Building Technician.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Performing minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures
- Performing scheduled maintenance on fire suppression/fire alarm systems, pest control systems, and life safety devices/equipment
- Managing facilities and grounds contracts and agreements, and preventative maintenance requirements (HVAC, Sprinkler, Breakroom equipment)
- Operating, maintaining and repairing water filters softeners, piping and pumps used in conjunction with water distribution, including all plumbing fixtures, supply lines, drains, water lines, and associated components
- Assisting in the operation, maintenance, and repair of pumps, other secondary refrigerating liquids, together with valves, appurtenances and lines used in the system
- Assisting in the operation, maintenance and repair of boilers, heaters, pumps, valves, appurtenances, and lines used in the distribution of heated or processed water

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of two years of related experience
- Possession of the requisite licenses and permits required by local laws and ordinances to operate, repair and maintain the facility equipment and systems will be a plus
- Must have good working knowledge of hand tools and appropriate test equipment
- on call emergency response

Hours: 7:30AM to 4:00PM 3 days a week & 3:30PM-12:00AM on weekends

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$47,000.00 per year
