**The starting rate for these positions are $16.75 with average gratuities of $5 or more per hour.**
We are seeking Food and Beverage Associates on our Banquets Team. The F&B Associate will deliver service to guests in these areas as well as provide support to all associates in accordance with established Marriott Brand Standards. The F&B Associate will promote a positive image of the property to guests, and must be pleasant, friendly and able to address problems or special requests as they arise.
An average day as a Banquet Server:
- Provide prompt, courteous and efficient food & beverage services for the Banquets Department within the Marriott Brand Standards.
- Provide a consistently high standard of service in set ups, and all meal functions related to group business.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Effectively handle guest concerns as they arise.
- Complete set up, tear down and cleaning of meetings, and functions, including the moving of banquet tables and chairs as required.
- Confidently anticipate and respond to needs and expectations of our guests.
What you bring to the team:
- Previous serving experience.
- Serving it Right certification required.
- Food Safe Certification
- A strong understanding of the hotel Food and Beverage operation and all areas within the department.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work both independently and in a Team oriented environment.
- Able to stand and or walk for extended periods of time.
- Able to lift push or pull up to 50 lbs
