**Shop Foreman**

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Ensure that all equipment and machinery are properly operating, maintained, and fueled.
- Ensure the efficiency of all operations and tasks performed by the personnel and enforce safety regulations and protocols.
- Assist with equipment repair, maintenance, and fabrication.
- Supervise and train team members for different roles.
- Implement strategies to optimize workflow and operational efficiency and conduct performance reviews with team members.
- Shipping, receiving and logistics.
- Perform administrative tasks such as updating and filing equipment orders, meeting with the management to deliver feedback and updates, stock receipts, and inventory (among other things that might be needed).
- Inventory management.
- Waste management.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Punctual and reliable.
- Problem-solving and initiative.
- At least one year of experience as a shop foreman or similar roles.
- Having a valid Driver's license is required.
- Mechanic, machining, welding, or carpentry skills will be considered an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership abilities and good time and people management skills.
- Proven work experience in construction jobs (experience with piling and shoring would be an asset).
- Computer skills, including MS Outlook, Excel, and Word considered an asset.

**Salary**: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
