**Project Coordinator**

A & H Stone Ltd. (A&H) is a leading fabricator of granite, marble and quartz to prestigious building contractors, developers, and members of the public throughout the Lower Mainland. With over 80,000 square feet of fabrication space, more than 20 years of experience in the industry, the latest technology of CNC and qualified craftsmen specializing in customized stone products. We specialize in supply and install stone countertops, fireplaces, and wall claddings. Our projects include commercial and residential units.

We are currently looking for a Construction Project Coordinator to join our team.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Report to and support project manager with various duties as assigned, such as maintain project schedules, trade lists, contracts, and project drawings
- Preparing construction schedules by studying plans; updating specifications; identifying and projecting efficiencies
- Driving to project sites, plan, and manage daily operations and construction schedules while monitoring project progress
- Prepare contracts and confidently negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements
- Maintaining quality service by following organization standards
- Promote continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, and irregularities
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
- A valid Social Insurance Number or documentation to legally work in Canada
- An active and valid B.C. driver’s license
- The ability to travel throughout the lower mainland with access to your own vehicle
- High school diploma, and post secondary education in a related area of study, or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other related software
- Experience with interior design drawings, and architectural design
- Great communication skills, and a team player.
- 1+ years of construction coordination experience
- Familiarity with commercial, multi-family residential, and industrial construction
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with strict time constraints
- Enthusiastic and friendly attitude to uphold excellent customer service to clients

**Qualifications that may be considered an asset**:

- Familiarity with BC bylaws and building code
- Construction estimating experience
- Able to communicate in Chinese

**Compensation**:
Based on experience. Extended health care and dental benefits are available after 6 months.

**Schedule**:

- 8-hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday 8:30AM - 5PM
