- Manage the accounting procedures of the dealership
- Maintain an accurate GL at all times
- Daily bank reconciliation
- Weekly schedule audit
- Weekly floorplan audit
- Monthly Visa reconciliation
- Monthly reconciliation of GST, F&I remittance, AMVIC and levy payments
- Monthly reconciliation of all GL’s and schedules
- Bi-Monthly review and submission of payroll to HR for processing
- Ensuring daily deposit is done and reconciled
- Review and post new, used, wholesale car deals
- Accounts Payable/Receivable duties
- Maintain accurate records and reporting
- Review and process new employee paperwork
- Provide monthly reporting to CFO with explanations
- Overseeing inventory audit counts
- Reconcile and post statements from manufacturers
- Month end expense analysis and month end entries
- Additional duties as required

Skills and Attributes:

- Proficient in full cycle accounting
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Trustworthy, reliable
- Have a diploma/degree in accounting and/or professional designation
- Have a working knowledge of accounting systems
- Have a comprehensive understanding of excel

The following items will be considered an asset to this position:

- Experience in CDK
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word
- Automotive experience
- Accounting designation
