Under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist, the student will assist with day to day operations of the pharmacy. This position is on-site at 9B Paton Street, St. Johns, NL, A1B 4S8.

Pay rate - $17 per hour for 37.5 hour work week

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assists the pharmacy assistant in preparing medication shipments and shipment labels
- Assists the pharmacy assistants in labeling of medications as allowed by law.
- Assists the pharmacy assistant in maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
- Assists the pharmacy assistant in filing and scanning documents.
- Assists the pharmacy team in entering data in various software programs used at the pharmacy
- Assists with ordering, receiving and storing medications and supplies in appropriate environment.
- Answer telephones, forward calls, take messages and assist customers.
- Cleans work areas routinely in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Must be able to perform all the physical duties and requirements of a general labor job.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualification

**QUALIFICATIONS**
Currently enrolled in university PharmD program
