**Job Summary**

**SPLIT SHIFTS WILL BE A REQUIREMENT OF THIS POSITION.**

**Duties**
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.
- Maintain cleanliness in kennels and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the management team.
- Assist with customer service by greeting pet owners and addressing their inquiries.
- Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required, including moving animals or supplies.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed to protect both animals and staff.

**Qualifications**
- Good time management and ability to follow protocol
- Can work independently
- Willingness to communicate efficiently with the team
- Previous experience in animal care or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks comfortably and safely.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members.
- A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.

Pay: $17.50-$18.00 per hour
