Cybersecurity Sales Professional

The CYDEF sales team is looking for an energetic sales professional for a blended role of business development and account management.
As a key member of our sales team, your **cybersecurity and sales expertise** will help contribute to our two primary goals:
- **Acquiring new business partners and clients** in North America to fuel our growth
- Strategic growth of our current accounts in terms of expansion of revenue
**What you’ll do**
**Business Development Goals (primary objective)**
- Acquire new clients in North America
- Represent the company in a professional manner and deliver clear value proposition
- Engage and establish a rapport with clients for long-term benefits
- Research organizations, decision makers and identify target prospects
- Attend conferences, events, and network to build the company brand and awareness
- Manage your pipeline accurately to enable the CRO to forecast forward
- Prepare presentations and sales displays to demonstrate value and ROI to prospects
- Work closely with the technical team to develop accurate quotes and proposals
- Assist in keeping the sales playbook up to date
**Current account expansion**
- Understand current North American account base (end user and BP)
- Build a plan to expand services into the current accounts using PAR model
- Understand trends and issues affecting clients in their assigned areas
- Have an understanding of CYDEF’s cybersecurity solutions and how they help organizations overcome their cybersecurity challenges
- Contact clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products
- Build strong relations to drive sales and meet department and company sales goals
- Act as both an independent contributor and team player in executing plans that lead to greater market acceptance and sales
- Act as a creative problem solver with the ability to bring others along with critical decisions, strategies, and tactics both internally and externally
**Requirements**:
- 1-2 years’ experience in cybersecurity sales
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
- Independent, driven, and a hungry salesperson
- Excellent all round communication skills: writing, presenting, and building rapport
- Strong English proficiency
- Curiosity, ability and willingness to learn
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Coachable
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (we do not sponsor visas)

- Cybersecurity certification(s)
- Formal sales training
- Professional LinkedIn profile
**Salary and benefits**:
- Salary range: $85-$90,000 (based on experience)
- Commissions (based on performance)

- Remote position (must be legally eligible to work in Canada)

**Salary**: $85,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
