**Responsibilities**:

- ** Compounding non-sterile/sterile medications (suspensions, creams, ointments, capsules).**:

- ** Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing compounded medications.**:

- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory levels.
- Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and laws.
- Entering, updating, and processing all data in pharmacy computer system (KROLL) in an efficient manner. (Inputting and refilling prescriptions)
- Accurately billing prescriptions.
- Communicating with a variety of health care professionals

**Qualifications**:

- Prior pharmacy experience is an important asset.
- ** Non-sterile/sterile compounding experience**:

- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration
- Possess a working knowledge of pharmacy calculations.
- Knowledge of third-party adjudication processes and guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork and positive attitude are requirements to ensure smooth operations of the pharmacy and to embrace the family atmosphere.

**Hours of Operation**:
Medical Arts Pharmacy is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm** **and Saturdays 9 am - 5 pm.

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
