**Company description** We are a custom furniture and wood supply store. Part woodworking shop, part warehouse and lumber yard, we can take our clients' projects from start to finish or provide our customers with the materials they need to complete their DIY dream project. **Job description** We are looking for someone who can jump in and hit the ground running with our three other team members, building and finishing custom furniture ranging from dining tables and benches to beds and barn doors. Because the majority of our work is custom, there is a large amount of problem solving required on a daily basis, and an ability to collaborate with team members and supervisors, and to accept feedback and constructive criticism, is crucial. The job is almost entirely shop-based but it does involve regular deliveries of finished products and occasional on-site installation work such as accent walls or mantles etc. The successful applicant will be willing and able to work every third or fourth Saturday (9-noon). We strive to make Barnboardstore Hamilton a fun and rewarding place to work. Regular lunch-and-learn sessions, offsite training when possible, and scheduled " special project days" to give employees time to develop concepts or ideas are some of the ways we do that.
