**About Us**:
Future Fuel Ltd is a leading provider of sustainable waste management solutions, dedicated to environmental stewardship and renewable energy production. We operate the Two Hills RNG facility owned by ATCO Future Fuel RNG L.P which utilizes anaerobic digestion facilities to convert organic waste into renewable natural gas and nutrient-rich fertilizers. We are currently seeking talented individuals to join our operations team.

**Location**:18 Minutes North of Vegreville, near Hairy Hill AB

**Position Overview**:
Reporting to the Shift Lead Operator, the Shift Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our facilities, ensuring consistent production of biogas and high-quality fertilizers while adhering to environmental regulations and safety protocols.

This is a shift work position with a schedule of 7on 7off. Day and night shifts are required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and control anaerobic digestion processes to optimize biogas production and digestate quality.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on equipment and machinery, including boilers, pumps, valves, motors, exchangers, and instrumentation.
- Operate skid steer and wheel loader to transport and manage feedstock materials as required for the anaerobic digestion process.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of operational data, including gas production, temperature, pH, and chemical usage.
- Work with maintenance personnel to assist with repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Execute LOTO, SOP/SWP, and other forms/ policies.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety procedures, and company policies.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent. 5th Class Power Engineering Certificate preferred.
- Proven experience in operating and maintaining industrial equipment, including skid steer and wheel loader experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with anaerobic digestion processes and associated equipment is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work shift work, flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Class 5 operators license and reliable transportation.
- Valid safety tickets, including First Aid/CPR, Confined Space Entry, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, AWP, and WHMIS.
- Must be able to pass mandatory pre-employment drug & alcohol testing.
