Project Manager

Reporting to the Emergency Services Manager, this position will be responsible for the following:

- Inspect and assess property damage to residential and commercial properties; manage and scope mitigation and remediation/repair processes as per IICRC standards for emergency claims
- Ensure compliance with document file completion as determined by external agreements(i.e. insurance carrier requirements) and TIL-KA DKI internal requirements
- Prepare accurate estimates for both residential and commercial mitigation, contents processing and restoration using client specific estimating software (Xactimate or Symbility)
- Measure and draw accurate and precise room sketches for inclusion in estimates
- Maintain consistent communication between insurance adjusters, property managers and their clients (policy holders and tenants) throughout all aspects of the emergency job process
- Liaise and coordinate with in-house support staff to ensure timely and efficient completion of jobs, including assist Finance with project-related accounts payable processing and invoicing
- Ensure project documentation is complete/accurate including any customer-signed documents needed (i.e. written change orders with signatures, unforeseen additional work, other issues)
- Follow document file processes as set out by client service level agreements and in-house requirements
- Obtain bids from vendors and sub-contractors; award emergency jobs; assign budgets; manage expectations and quality control
- While completing the repair estimates, review all applicable construction codes, regulations and ordinances such as plumbing, mechanical, electrical and structural
- Proactive in response to client concerns, resolving issues and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Build and maintain relationships within the industry
- Increase sales opportunities by up-selling services; maintain low percentage of lost jobs
- Assume responsibility and management of the emergency project file from receipt to closing
- Attend and participate in weekly Job Management meetings to track jobs/timelines, share ideas, identify process inefficiencies, provide feedback and keep informed on client and company updates
- Participate in regular on-call afterhours rotation for afterhours claims; inspect and assess property damage to residential and commercial properties; manage and scope mitigation processes as per IICRC standards
- Must be aware of and comply with all relevant company and legislative safety policies, procedures and reporting requirements
- Manage time sheets, mileage records/vehicle log and forward to Emergency Services Manager and Payroll bi-weekly
- Manage emergency crews and work with Construction Services Project Manager for manpower

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum 5 years in the Insurance restoration industry
- Completion of a construction/building technology diploma or Engineering degree AND/OR Working knowledge of residential/ commercial construction
- Experience in Project Management
- Highly proficient in Xactimate estimating software. Experience using Symbility estimating software an asset
- IICRC or trade related accreditation an asset
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License required
- Driver’s Abstract in good standing
- Clean Criminal Record
- Working Knowledge of the Ontario Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
- Will require regular after-hours on-call rotation

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
