Construction Framer/carpenter

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Interpret and work from blueprints and schematics to accurately frame structures.
- Utilize hand tools and heavy equipment for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
- Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks as required.
- Install siding and other exterior finishes to enhance the building's aesthetics.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
- Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged framing components.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of building codes.
- Experience with hand tools and heavy equipment operation.
- Construct building structures and frameworks, including walls, floors, windows, doors, stairs etc
- Frame floor systems, wall and roof trusses
- Must have a working knowledge of framing and foundation components.
- Strong carpentry skills with an emphasis on precision and attention to detail.
- Safety conscious and willing to adhere to all safety policies and practices.
- Must have basic tools (belt, hammer, level) and PPE (steel-toed boots, hard hat)
- Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation an asset
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, punctual and able to follow directions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Construction: 2 years (required)
- Carpentry: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
