**Description**:
The City of Pointe-Claire offers services designed specifically for the well-being of seniors. From at-home help to social activities, seniors benefit from a personalized offer. Furthermore, thanks to our Aid for Seniors Program, home maintenance and exterior services are often provided by students. This enables an enriching exchange between the generations.
**Departmental mission**:
The mission of the Culture, Sports, Leisure and Community Development Department is to improve quality of life by promoting accessibility, participation, and integration of all citizens through the provision of excellent community, cultural, sports and recreational facilities, activities, and services.
**General responsibilities and goals**:
Reporting to the Supervisor - Aid for Seniors, the Clerk will be responsible for performing yard work, cutting grass, washing windows, raking, shovelling pathways in the winter, and transporting equipment for municipal events.
**Job requirements**:
- Bilingual (French and English)
- Ability to work in a team
- Previous experience in yard work an asset
- Valid driver’s licence an asset
- Previous experience working with seniors an asset
**Schedule**:
15-40 hours per week
- variable schedule depending on the needs of the service
