**We're hiring NOW** Looking for apprentice carpenters interested in learning and working on new construction and residential renovation projects. Work with a solid crew on a variety of custom projects.

An Apprentice Carpenter is responsible to complete the tasks outlined by Construction Site Lead and/or Journey Carpenter to allow construction to move forward on the site. This position includes everyday tasks including general framing and carpentry, selective demolition, site clean-up, hauling heavy material and working as part of a team to complete quality projects.
- All employees are expected to have their own transportation, a valid driver's license, possess hand tools, power hand tools and personal safety equipment. _

**Responsibilities**:

- Carry out general demolition of building structures
- Assist in the preparation of the project layout
- Estimate height, width, length, and other proportions, when required
- Handle various types of carpentry tools and materials.
- Read building plans and preform framing layout.
- Ensure work completed conforms to building codes/design and best practices
- Duties as assigned by Construction Site Lead and/or Journey Carpenter
- Strong work ethic, critical thinking and problem solving on site
- Willingness to learn all aspects of residential construction
- Ask Supervisor questions to learn or when uncertain or clarification is required
- Be a team player with a can-do attitude, be on time and keep site clean

**Experience**:

- Must have minimum 3 years of Construction field experience
- Must have completed 2nd year formal training in Carpenter Apprentice program
- Interest in continuing in the Carpenter Apprentice program to complete ticket
- Residential Construction experience preferred_

**Full Medical/Dental Benefits and Truck/Tool allowance after 3 months**

**Job Type**: Apprenticeship

**Salary**: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
