**Overview**
The **Business Intelligence Coordinator **will provide support to the Business Intelligence Manager and play a role in providing information and insights that will help the company make informed business decisions and execute against the long-term strategy. This role will perform a variety of administrative and reporting tasks essential to tracking and measuring progress against key business initiatives. The position will primarily support the Commercial team and report to the Business Intelligence Manager.
**Responsibilities**
**Administrative**:
- Maintain internal programming and promotional activity calendars
- Update and maintain provincial price lists and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders
- Execute price changes with provincial liquor boards on a regular schedule
- Execute new product set ups with provincial liquor boards
- Organize documents and resources, ensuring files are kept up to date and key stakeholders have access to the right information in the right location at all times
**Reporting, Research & Analysis**:
- Support the Business Intelligence Manager in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports to track and assess business performance (monthly and quarterly)
- Prepare, manipulate and analyze data from internal and external data sources to help support fact-based decision making and identify key issues and opportunities across all markets
- Support Business Intelligence Manager and Marketing team in the development and completion of regular promotional program assessments
- Gain a complete understanding of nuances between provincial markets and the corresponding GWBC brand positioning and target consumer
- Ad hoc research as required
**Track & Monitor**:
- Track progress against quarterly and annual sales targets and KPIs, and communicate results to the team (bi-weekly)
- Monitor and track internal and competitor pricing across all markets and sales channels; facilitate regularly scheduled pricing review meetings to ensure GWBC pricing strategy stays on track
- Track key internal dates (product launches, major promotional activity, etc.)
- Tracking competitive flyer activity and understanding the impact of these activities
**Share & Present**:
- Effectively communicate insights gleaned from reporting and analysis and work with Business Intelligence Manager and other stakeholders to determine actionable takeaways
- Aid in the building of presentations as required
**Other duties and projects as assigned**:
- Project work including investigation of new data sources, improving existing reports, creation of new reports and standardization of processes
- Providing PowerBi training and support to salary team members
**Key Requirements and Capabilities**
**Education & Experience**:
- Degree, diploma or certificate in data analysis, business administration or related field
- 2 years or more work experience in an administrative or data-related role, and/or consumer-packaged goods, beverage alcohol or beer
- Experience in Microsoft Excel is required at an intermediate level
- Experience using PowerBi or other data visualization software is preferred
- Certificate or course work in Project Management is preferred but not required
- A combination of education and experience will be considered

- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to influence decisions
- Agile and adaptable with the ability to quickly adapt to changes and learn how to work with new/changing data sources and platform.
- Collaborative worker who can work across departments with different stakeholders and interest
