We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Associate to join our commercial cleaning company. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving sales growth. Previous sales experience, particularly in the commercial cleaning industry, is highly desirable.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's client base
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Present and promote our commercial cleaning services to potential clients
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts
- Negotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery for new clients
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions
- Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries or concerns
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline in CRM software

Qualifications:

- Proven sales experience, preferably in the commercial cleaning industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities
- Self-motivated and target-driven mindset
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and industry trends is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time, Part-time, Commission

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Shift:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Wolfville, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
