Performs tasks associated with the packaging of pharmaceutical products for either primary or secondary production processes.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- 1. Understands and adheres to SOP requirements, GMP practices and job specific packaging procedures.
- 2. Reads and understands packaging procedures prior to each job.
- 3. Performs a variety of manual tasks associated with the packaging of pharmaceutical products for both clinical and commercial jobs.
- 4. Monitors production output for quality and accuracy.
- 5. Counts product and confirms issued quantities.
- 6. Undertakes a detailed inspection of labels and foils for print correctness, sequencing of numbers, expiry dates, lot numbers, legibility of print, alignment of print, properly formed foil blisters, etc.
- 7. Identifies quality issues or concerns and brings these to the attention of the Line Leader, Shift Lead and/or Production Manager for appropriate action.
- 8. Lends assistance to Quality Assurance with regards to in-process inspection if/as required.
- 9. May assist in picking materials for job runs.
- 10. This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.
- 11. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.
- 12. Attendance to work is an essential function of this position.
- 13. Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

Rotating Shift

Week 1: Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Week 1: Monday to Friday 3:15pm to 11:45pm
