**Service Technician**

**Job Type**: Full Time Reg Hours: Mon-Thu: 7:30 to 4:30, Fri: 7:30 to 2:00

Job Location: London, ON Start Wage: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour

**Position Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Work Location: Various commercial, industrial, institutional, health care and similar buildings/jobsites throughout S/W Ontario
- Service and install of commercial frames, doors, door operators, access controls, and specialty building products
- Daily field reporting
- Management of company vehicle, tools/equipment, supplies and products

**Qualifications**:

- Proficient with hand tools and related equipment
- Proof of a clean Driver’s Abstract
- Able to pass a Police Records Check
- Ability to read and understand Industrial, Commercial and Institutional (ICI) drawings and specifications
- Able to meet the physical demands of the job:

- Work with others as required installing heavy objects, such as 120 lb. Hollow Metal (steel) doors
- Requires work on active jobsites that are in various stages of completion
- Work overhead (40 lbs.)
- Excellent dexterity using various hand tools in a variety of positions
- Ability to safely maneuver on a ladder
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
- Excellent planning, organizational and documentation skills
- Computer Skills: word processing, AutoCAD, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, file management
- Excellent information resourcing abilities (books, internet, suppliers, etc.)
- Grade 1 CSA approved safety footwear

**Assets**:

- O.S.S.D., Completion of college/vocational or technical training in a related field
- Industrial, Commercial and Institutional (ICI) building project experience
- Experience with ICI door hardware
- Welding (MIG) experience
- Training: Health and Safety, First Aid, Forklift, Driver
