Lethbridge, Canada St. Mary River Irrigation District Full time

You must be available for emergency repairs.

You will be working on construction projects that include pipeline construction, concrete construction and road and canal repairs

The ability to identify and assess maintenance issues when inspecting or repairing structures is required.

You will respond to software maintenance work orders in a timely manner. Other duties include:

- Assist with inventory count.
- Experience with the repair and maintenance of water management structures.
- Valid Class 5 Operators license
- Complete all required safety certifications
- Basic emergency response training including ICS 100 is an asset but can be trained
- Work under a variety of extreme weather conditions (out in the field)
- Ability to work individually or in a team setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Basic computer skills - able to complete online maintenance and safety reports
- Knowledge and skills relating to irrigation construction as well as experience with operating canals & buried pipeline systems would be an asset.
