The Accounting Technician provides support to the accounting and financial information functions of head office. The incumbent performs a variety of accounting duties.

**Responsibilities**:

- USA/CAN bank reconciliation.
- Balance O/S cheques - USA/CAN.
- Preparation of journal entries.
- Account analysis and reconciliations.
- Produce GST, HST, PST and QST reports.
- Provide administrative and accounting support to the accounting team.
- Prepare monthly financial reports.
- Ad-hoc analysis and other tasks as required.

**Qualifications**:

- AEC, Attestation of collegial studies or DEC, Diploma of collegial studies in Accounting.
- Minimum of two (2) years of related experience.
- Accounting knowledge and experience.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word etc.)
- Knowledge of SAP S4/HANA, an asset
