We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented Thermal Modeller/ CAD Specialist.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Schedule**:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
**Location**: Lethbridge, AB
**Key Responsibilities**:
The main responsibilities will include, but are not necessarily limited to the following:
- Perform detailed window and door energy analysis using applicable software models to simulate product performance.
- Prepare detailed CAD models of fenestration products.
- Prepare energy reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards, Building Code compliance, and certification body requirements.
- Provide design recommendations to improve the energy efficiency of window and door products
- Conduct site visits and prepare reports as needed.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and prioritization of tasks.
- Continuously learn and grow within the field to contribute to the development of new thermal tools and methodologies.
**Previous Experience in Fenestration Industry or Building Energy Modeling is an asset**
**Qualifications**:
- **2D/3D AutoCAD Proficiency**: Basic level required for general day-to-day work. Additional experience is a plus.
- **Microsoft Excel Proficiency**: Strong understanding of equations and general Excel capabilities. VBA experience is highly desirable.
- **Analytical Skills**: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and make informed recommendations.
- **Attention to Detail**: Exceptional attention to detail is essential to ensure accuracy in reports and data analysis.
- **Understanding of Building Construction Principles**: General knowledge is required, with hands-on experience being a plus for potential site visits.
- **Balance of Repetitive and Innovative Work**: Ability to handle repetitive tasks with precision while maintaining a drive to learn and innovate.
- **Coding Experience**: Additional coding languages or experience is an asset as we develop more thermal tools.
- **Time Management Skills**: Strong ability to estimate project timelines and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
