**Overview**
Little Blackstone Studios is an Emmy-nominated and Oscar Shortlisted animation studio that arrived on the Canadian landscape in 2009. Proudly boasting a reputation for contemporary design - committed to originality and creativity, it is dedicated to bringing its unique approach to original series & films, in design, development, and production.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Superior ability to achieve high quality 2D animation reflecting the directors vision that leans into horror and realism.
- Extensive proficiency in Harmony software with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience. Proven experience animating in a 2D animation pipeline.
- Collaborate with the animation team, animation leads and supervisors to understand the creative vision, style requirements, review notes and animation benchmarks.
- Address review notes while maintaining the overall quality of the animation in a timely manner.
- Adhere to the production guidelines regarding file types and sizes.
**Key Requirements**
- 3+ years proven experience as an Animator, preferably with experience in a rigged animation pipeline.
- Familiarity with node view and rig controls within Toon Boom Harmony software.
- Expertise in animation principles, including timing, spacing, weight, posing, and acting, with a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality animation work. (Proven experience on a show with a high level of realism is an asset.)
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team environment, fostering a positive and creative work atmosphere.
- A great attitude and work ethic. Able to work & communicate efficiently in a motivated milestone-driven, team environment.
