Reporting directly to Field Operations Manager, the **Plant Labourer** is responsible for filling propane cylinders, assisting in maintaining, organizing and cleaning the territory’s yard and conducting general duties as assigned.

**What you'll do**:

- Fill cylinders for a clean and professional presentation when installed at the customer’s site.
- Maintain a clean and orderly yard ensuring that tanks and inventory are organized.
- Minimize and prevent safety issues by correcting them immediately and/or notifying the Field Operations Manager.
- May perform some general administrative duties including invoicing, filing etc.
- Assist the drivers and service technicians in managing inventory and maintaining their vehicles as needed.
- Daily plant check
- makes sure all scales are running properly, up to date, and properly labeled.
- Record Keeping
- Other duties as assigned.

**What you bring**:

- Physically capable of lifting 60 lbs and moving heavy equipment on a repetitive basis
- Prior experience in a labor role is an asset.
- Knowledge of propane and propane handling is an asset.
- TDG, 100.4,100.11,100.1 - Dispensing Product, WHIMIS and Provincial certification for filling cylinders is required, and if needed will provided as training.
- Organization skills to manage inventory.
- Valid driver’s license with clean drivers abstract is considered an asset.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is an asset.

**What you should know**:

- This location is not accessible by transit. Reliable transportation is required.
- A background check including criminal record check, drug screen and employment verification will be required.
